GK Chooses Gobi Stories to Showcase Employees on Their Career Page

GK is Scandinavia’s leading provider of building technology, with revenues exceeding 6 billion NOK. With around 3,000 employees and 100 offices across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, they deliver smart and sustainable solutions in ventilation, refrigeration, building automation, electrical, and plumbing. Their mission is to build sustainable communities for generations.

When GK set out to build new career pages in 2022, it was especially important to show potential candidates the many opportunities that exist across the group.

At the same time, GK is deeply committed to inclusion and diversity, with a strong focus on social sustainability. When GK came into contact with Gobi, it quickly became apparent that the video platform would be a perfect fit for further strengthening this focus.

In short order, GK got started with their first self-produced “stories,” publishing a series of videos featuring their employees, who could proudly share about both their workplace and their tasks.

After a successful launch of new career pages — now featuring authentic video content from employees — GK also decided to expand their use of Gobi, adopting video for employee interviews and articles as a way to explore new methods of communicating content.

What started as a pilot project in Norway has since expanded across use cases and national borders, and they now use Gobi in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
