No. Gobi uses no cookies or third-party tracking technology. This means your videos are shown to 100% of visitors immediately, without waiting for consent from the cookie banner. This is a major advantage compared to video platforms that use cookies (like YouTube or Vimeo embeds).

Yes. Gobi automatically generates captions using AI in multiple languages, including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English. The captions can be edited manually in Studio if you want to make adjustments. Captions are important both for accessibility (WCAG) and because many people watch video without sound.

Yes. All data processing complies with European privacy legislation (GDPR). Gobi is registered as a data processor and has clear procedures for consent, access and deletion. Employees who record give explicit consent through a built-in consent flow, with clear information about what the video will be used for and the ability to withdraw consent.

All data — including video, metadata and user data — is stored on servers in the EU. Data is encrypted both in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not use any third-party providers outside the EU for storing personal data.

Yes. A ready-made DPA is included for all customers and covers all requirements for a data processing agreement under GDPR Article 28. The agreement is ready to sign from day one, at no extra cost. You can find it at gobistories.com/dpa.

Yes. Gobi is designed for universal access in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA. The player supports captions, keyboard navigation and screen readers, ensuring everyone can experience the content. We publish a full accessibility statement and regularly test with tools like WAVE and axe. This meets the requirements of the Norwegian Equality and Anti-Discrimination Act.
