Add stories to job postings

Show employee videos directly in SAP SuccessFactors job postings by pasting HTML code into the Job Description field.

1

Add the Gobi script to the career page first

Before you can show stories in job postings, the Gobi script must be added in Career Site Builder. Follow the career page guide (step 3) if this has not already been done.

💡 Without the script on the career site, the Gobi widget will not work in job postings.
2

Create a story in Gobi Studio

Go to studio.gobistories.com and log in. Create a new story with short videos and/or images, and publish it.

3

Customise and copy the HTML code

Go to "Add to website" in the left-hand menu in Gobi Studio. Select the story you want to use and customise the appearance. Under "Advanced", select "Gobi Discover Classes" from the Code Style dropdown. Copy the HTML code (without the script).

💡 The Gobi widget is responsive and works on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
4

Open the job posting in SAP

Go to Home → Recruiting in SAP SuccessFactors. Open an existing job posting (click View/Edit Requisition), or create a new one.

5

Paste HTML code in Job Description

Find the Job Description field in the job posting. In the rich text editor, click the Source Code button (< > icon) to switch to HTML view. Paste the HTML code from step 3. Click Source Code again to return to visual mode and verify the result. Save the job posting.
