Share Gobi videos on Snapchat

How to export and publish employee videos from Gobi on Snapchat to reach younger candidates — step by step.

1

Upload the story in Gobi Studio

Go to studio.gobistories.com and log in. Upload the video as one or more chapters.

studio.gobistories.com
2

Place subtitles within safe zones

Snapchat displays the username and timestamp at the top, and the swipe-up button, chat field, and action buttons at the bottom. When adding subtitles and elements to 9:16 videos, make sure all important content stays away from these areas.

💡 Avoid the top ~10% and bottom ~20% of the frame. Snapchat has similar safe zones to Facebook — but the bottom is especially important due to the swipe-up function.
3

Export with subtitles

From Gobi Studio, select "Export story" and "Download story with subtitles". This gives you an MP4 file with burned-in subtitles ready for Snapchat.

4

Open the Snapchat app, select the MP4 file from your camera roll, and share it as a Snap or add it to a Story.

💡 Use Snapchat's link sticker to link directly to the job posting or career page.
