Share Gobi videos on LinkedIn

How to export and publish employee videos from Gobi on LinkedIn for maximum reach — step by step.

1

Upload the story in Gobi Studio

Go to studio.gobistories.com and log in. Upload the video as one or more chapters.

2

Place subtitles within safe zones

When adding subtitles and elements to 9:16 videos for LinkedIn, make sure all important content stays within the safe areas. LinkedIn covers the top and bottom of the video with its UI — playback controls, profile info, and action buttons.

💡 Place subtitles and stickers in the middle section of the video. Avoid the top ~10% and bottom ~25% of the frame — that's where LinkedIn puts its own elements.
3

Export with subtitles

From Gobi Studio, select "Export story" and "Download story with subtitles". This gives you an MP4 file with burned-in subtitles ready for LinkedIn.

4

Upload as a native MP4 on LinkedIn

Use LinkedIn's native video player by uploading the MP4 file directly — don't share an external link. Native video gets far greater reach than links to external video players.

💡 Vertical video from Gobi takes up more space in the LinkedIn feed than traditional landscape format — it stops the scroll and gives you more seconds to make an impression.

Put links in the comments

After publishing, add a comment with relevant links — for example to the job posting or career page. This preserves your reach and boosts engagement.

💡 Ask colleagues to react and comment quickly after publishing — early engagement is rewarded by the LinkedIn algorithm.
