Share Gobi videos on Instagram

How to export and publish employee videos from Gobi on Instagram to reach younger candidates — step by step.

1

Upload the story in Gobi Studio

Go to studio.gobistories.com and log in. Upload the video as one or more chapters.

studio.gobistories.com
2

Place subtitles within safe zones

Instagram Reels has the strictest safe zone of all platforms. Captions and audio info cover the bottom (~320 px), engagement buttons cover the right side, and the status bar/header covers the top. Make sure all subtitles and important elements are well within the safe areas.

💡 Avoid the top ~10%, bottom ~25%, and right ~10% of the frame. Instagram has the most restrictive safe zone — place all important content in the centre.
3

Export with subtitles

From Gobi Studio, select "Export story" and "Download story with subtitles". This gives you an MP4 file with burned-in subtitles ready for Instagram.

4

Publish on Instagram

Upload the MP4 file directly in the Instagram app as a Reel. Write an engaging caption with relevant hashtags.

💡 Use relevant hashtags like #hiring, #career, #werehiring, and your company's own hashtag. Tag colleagues who appear in the video.
5

Add link in bio or story

Since Instagram doesn't support clickable links in posts, add the link to the career page or job posting in your bio. Alternatively, share the video in Instagram Stories with a link sticker.

💡 Post when your target audience is most active — typically mornings (07–09) or evenings (17–20).
